How to Apply for Shop Madern’s Trade Program
To apply for our designer discount program, follow these steps:
Fill out our online trade program application below.
Enter your name, company information and email address.
Upload a link to your company website or social media account.
Provide a copy of your Business License/Resale Certificate.
If you do not have a website, social media account used for your business or a business license/resale tax certificated, upload two (2) qualifying documents. What is a qualifying document?
Submit your completed application and our team will review for approval. You will receive an email notification with your approval status within 2-3 business days.
The Shop Madern trade program membership apply to Shop Madern and Madern Kids–therefore, you only need to fill out one application.
We reserve the right to make all membership determinations at our sole discretion. Each professional must individually apply for membership by submitting their individual qualifications. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
How to Use Your Shop Madern Trade Program Discount
Once you are approved and become a trade member you will receive a member number that will activate your trade program discount.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
No. There is no minimum purchase quantity to receive the Shop Madern design trade discount.
Can I resell items on my own website or retail outlet?
No. Members are not allowed to resell Lynx Design Studio, LLC (dba Shop Madern, Madern Kids) products through their own ecommerce site or any other retail outlet or website.
Trade Program Application
Resale Certificates for Tax Exempt Purchases (within the United States)
To make a tax-exempt purchase in a state(s) in which you maintain tax-exempt status, please complete the following steps:
1. Download all applicable Resale Certificates for each state in which you are a reseller. State authorities require us to keep a completed copy of the Resale Certificate in addition to your (re)seller’s license or permit. We will provide our company information as the seller; you just need to fill in your company’s information in the required fields.
NOTE: Sales tax is collected based on the ship-to address, so the state Resale Certificate needed is based on the shipping destination for each order.
For resellers in Florida, please provide a copy of your signed Annual Resale Certificate.
For resellers in Oklahoma, please provide a copy of your Sales Tax/Exemption Permit.
For resellers in Mississippi, please provide a copy of your Sales Tax Permit.
For resellers in Washington, please provide a copy of your reseller permit.
