Notice to Connecticut Customers.

We are part of Lynx Design Studio, LLC which includes Lynx Design Studio+, Shop Madern and Madern Kids, from this point forward referred to as “We”. We are committed to complying with the State of Connecticut’s notice and reporting requirements for sales use tax in the state of Connecticut due to no physical or economic nexus. To comply with current notice and reporting requirements, we must comply with the following:

Provide a written notice on all invoices, order forms, sales receipts or similar correspondences, whether in paper or electronic form, to each purchaser at the time of each sale that states:

Connecticut sales tax was not collected on this sale and the purchase is not exempt from Connecticut sales or use tax merely because it is made over the internet or by other remote means, and the State of Connecticut requires purchasers to report all purchases taxable in Connecticut for which no tax was collected by the retailer and pay tax on those purchases.

Connecticut requires Connecticut purchasers to file a use tax return if sales tax is not imposed at the time of the sale by the seller.
